| After studying at Bradford College Sally set up her designer jewellery Business in Bradford with the support of the Prince's Trust in 1998. She has recently moved her business to Cockpit workshops in central London (June 2000). |

Designer jewellery Sally produces designer jewellery using silver which she decorates with heat treated titanium to create unique pieces of jewellery marked by their simplicity of form and constructed using riveting and soldering techniques. The simple clean lines of the silver are a contrast to the vibrant splashes of colour of the titanium which give the jewellery a Mediterranean feel. Sally also produces a silver & gold range of bridal tiaras & jewellery for that special day Unique & original designs made to commission & timeless gifts for bridesmaids. In April of 2000 Sally was the only British independent designer to be selected to exhibit her jewellery in the designer gallery at the international jewellery fair 'Euro Bijoux' held in Menorca, Spain. Exhibitions past & present Past exhibitions include, The Beatrice Royal Gallery in Southampton, The Bluecoat Display Centre Gallery in Liverpool and a showcase at John McKellar Contemporary Jewellery Gallery in Hereford. Recent jewellery exhibitions include `Valentines' exhibition at Pyramid Gallery in York, The Craft Centre & Design Gallery in Leeds and a six -week showcase at the Royal Society of Artists in Birmingham. Sally currently supplies Primavera in Cambridge, The City Gallery in Leicester and The Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, in addition to selling directly from her workshop in central London by appointment. Gifts for the wedding list - handmade light shades tailor made for the home. In addition to the jewellery Sally creates unique and original light shades made from recycled copper wire manipulated to create an open work effect backed by neutral handmade paper or vibrantly coloured plastics. One of these shades entitled `Funky fish' was short listed in the Prince's Trust category of Gift of the year 2000, awarded by the Giftware Society. |
