Volunteers Programme

The Prince's Trust's Volunteers programme enables 16-25 year olds to develop their confidence, motivation and skills through teamwork in the community.

  • Over 50,000 people have taken part since the programme was launched in 1990.
     
  • The programme is available at over 300 locations in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
     
  • 70% of unemployed participants find work or enter full time education or training after completing the programme.
     
  • Over 90% of employers report improvements in the skills and attitudes of employed participants on their return to work.
     
  • Approximately 10,000 will take part in Volunteers in 2000/2001.
