 It can sometimes be difficult
to know how many flowers to order for the wedding. The bride will have a bouquet and the
guests will have buttonholes, but then you have to decide what to have at the church and
at the reception. With so many decisions to make for the day it may be better to let the
florist take over and organise the flowers for you.
However if you want to do it yourself, the easiest approach
is to go to your church just after a wedding has taken place, to see where the flowers
have been put and how many arrangements there are. Then you can judge for yourself whether
you need more flowers or fewer. You can also do the same at the reception venue.
The bridesmaids normally carry flowers as well. If you are having very small bridesmaids
it can sometimes be difficult to get them to carry the flowers without pulling the petals
off. There are other options for the little ones such as carrying a teddy bear or a doll
and there are specialists who will make rag dolls for example and even dress them in the
same outfit that the bridesmaids are wearing.This would also make an ideal keepsake for
