Very many people set up home and live together before getting married and inevitably happy homes are shared by cats, dogs, goldfish, gerbils and any number of reptiles, mice and arachnids. The mice and arachnids are probably wild and don't need looking after in your absence but what about that poor pooch? He or she is going to have a lonely week while you are away on honeymoon, unless you take him with you of course but that is probably not advisable.
