Having spoken with other brides-to-be this appears to be a very common situation...sad, really. It does make you feel heartened to know there are other unreasonable MIL2B's - it seems to be MILs and not Mums. I hope things get better for you. we are now 6 months from our big day and MIL is still saying the same things. 'well of course, it's not what I wanted' 'it's not right' 'etc etc....I don't think she'll ever shut up!! Apart from that, she's lovely! Good luck...DO NOT LET IT SPOIL YOUR DAY OR YOUR PLANS, YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF!
