WEDDING MAGAZINE REVIEWS

Sometimes you just want to sit down with a cup of  coffee and a magazine for a good read rather than sitting in front off a computer screen, so I decided that during August and September I will take time out to review some UK wedding magazines to give you an idea of the style and contents.  This month I have chosen the following three magazines to review, Bliss for Brides, Wedding and Home and Wedding Day.

Review:-    I found this magazine very informative, it also features pictures and stories from real life weddings, which I thought was a great idea as it is always nice to have a nose at others peoples styles and tastes.
It has an excellent regional director services/suppliers section along with plenty of fashion and beauty products, advertised with lots of helpful tips. It also included a wedding planner which like most wedding planners was fairly heavy going to read in one sitting.
Other features included unusual wedding stationery including this years colour scheme, a good article on wedding flowers with a sample price list, and it also included a section for the groom including products and clothing.

Review:-  The magazine came with this cool little handbook - 101 answers to the most asked questions (I love give-aways with magazines), it also included a handy little confetti.co.uk wedding and party shop book.
It was packed full with stunning wedding dresses and excellent choice of magazine for those still looking for wedding outfits.  As with the first magazine it also had a section of real life weddings and a fairly large wedding directory in the back.
There is an excellent wedding planner which includes a checklist and an average calculation of costs, this I think is extremely helpful as many people have no idea where to start when it comes to costing their wedding.

This magazine contained an excellent beauty feature on make up choosing the right shade of makeup for your colouring.  It also had a good section on honeymoons and as with the other magazines it had a large directory in the back.
It included a variety of outfits - check out the cute bridesmaid dresses.  Also featured was a large wedding check list - I always think check lists are so helpful as there are so many different things to remember.
